 MR. Abdul Matlub Ahmad is a leading business personality, an industrialist and an  enterpreneur with a vision of development in Bangladesh. He is the Chairman of  Nitol-Niloy Group of Companies, one of the prime conglomerates of the country. He  established the flagship company Nitol Motors Ltd. Which is the main driving force of  the group.

 Matlub Ahmad is the President of India-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce &  Industries Vice President (founder President) of Bangladesh Automobiles  Assembles & Manufactures Association. He is the past President of Bangladesh-Malaysia Chamber of Commerce & Industries, ex-director of Federation of Chamber of Commerce and Industries.

He is concerned about the World Environment situation and actively working to keep Bangladesh environment congenial for the future generation. He is also giving priority to develop alternative energy sources from Gashol and use of nature gas in Bangladesh. A keen sportsman, his contribution for development of games & sports in Bangladesh is commendable.

Born in Dhaka in 1952, Mr. Matlub Ahmad graduated with a B.A.(Hons.) and M.A. in Economics from Oxford. He is married to Mrs. Selima Ahmad and is blessed with two sons -Abdul Mussabbir Ahmad(Nitol) and Marib Ahmad(Niloy).

Selima Ahmad, .Vice Chairperson of the Nitol-Niloy Group is the quintessential successful woman. Her dynamic contribution at sales and marketing at Nitol Motors was remarkable for the growth of NNG. She also established the first and only Artificial Silk Flower Industry in Bangladesh. For her continuous tireless work and contribution the Nitol-Niloy Group now have a strong, diversified profile, which includes a joint venture with TATA Motors of India to trade, assemble, and provide after sales support of vehicles, transport and aviation services, financial institutions, manufacturing of sugar, cement, paper and luggage, real estate development, and sports promotion. Selima Ahmad is now the Head of HR division of NNG.

Selima Ahmad is also the founder of the Bangladesh Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BWCCI), she was acutely aware of the need for a national body, which represented the interests and supported the initiatives of women entrepreneurs. As a successful businesswomen herself with longstanding experience in the private sector, Ahmad took the initiative to form a Chamber of Commerce devoted exclusively to facilitating the advancement of women entrepreneurs.

Drawing on her business experience and involvement with several trade organizations, including the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industries, Bangladesh Automobile Assemblers and Manufacturers Association, Bangladesh Handicraft Manufacturers and Exporters Association, Bangladesh Association of Publicly Listed Companies, Ahmad convinced and mobilized women entrepreneurs, the government and development partners of the need for the creation of BWCCI. Selima had continuous dialogue with the Government for the need to grow women entrepreneurs and sustain their enterprises. Her persuasion and advocacy finally resulted in the approval by the Government to establish a separate Chamber of Commerce for women.

Ahmad feels that with the achievements in women empowerment the developing economies will hugely benefit. The contribution of women entrepreneurs will help to achieving MDG goals and the impact will assist in alleviating poverty.

She has developed 3000 women entrepreneurs by planning, designing and facilitating different programs. She supports these initiatives by providing training, business counseling, credit linkages, acting as guarantor, and lobbying government and policy makers .Despite her many accolades, Ahmad’s proudest achievements are the changes that are visible in the lives of the members due to the support of BWCCI.

She has been appointed by the Bangladesh Government as board of director of Bangladesh Development Bank limited.

Her work is recognized not only in Bangladesh but also in the global arena. She has been invited as a speaker in many national and international seminars.

She obtained graduation and Masters in Business Management from Dhaka University and did short courses from, Japan, Denmark and Canada. She is a Fellow of Stanford University ,USA.

Her accomplishments have earned her the title of best female entrepreneur in Bangladesh by different organization in different time, Best women achievers, 2005, 06 by Consortium of Women Entrepreneurs of India and TIAW World of Difference Award 100, 2010 for bringing a difference for Women in Bangladesh by The International Alliance for Women (TIAW), Canada.Selected as a laureates of Islamic Development Bank in ‘Women’s Contribution in Development ‘and awarded for 2012.

 Abdul Musabbir Ahmad, son of Mr. Abdul Matlub Ahmad, is the Managing Director of Nitol-Niloy Group of industries. He was born on 6 April 1979 in a respective Muslim family. Musabbir is an energetic, dynamic and farsighted industrialist with visionary zeal. A graduate from Bangladesh, he studied in Business Administration in Fort Wayne University of USA. He is also keen in finding new business opportunities on Bangladesh.

 Musabbir is an Executive Member of IBCCI(India Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry), DCCI(Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry), BAAMA(Bangladesh Automobiles Assembles & Manufacturer Association), and ALC(Association of Listed Companies). He is also the Chairman of NITS(pvt) Ltd, and Niloy Cement Industries Ltd. Besides, he is the MD of NITA(Nitol-TATA) - a joint venture business with India.

Abdul Musabbir Ahmad took active part in many International business meetings, seminars, symposia and trade fairs in USA, UK, Europe, Middle East, Far East and the SAARC countries. He is involved with many social organizations and sponsor of NITOL-TATA Football League in Bangladesh. Presently he is actively involved with CSR program in various parts of Bangladesh. He is also chairman of 'Matlub Ahmad Foundation' - dedicated in social welfare services.

Mr. Musabbir is married to Nazia Ayesha Ahmad and a proud father of three sons. He has keen interest in snooker,IT and Basketball.

 Mr. Md. Anowar Husain, a Fellow of Cost and Management Accountants from London,  FCMA(London), FCMA(Dhaka), had been in the UK about 25 years and after returned  from the UK, joined as a Sponsor Director of Nita Co. Ltd. in 1991 a Joint Venture with  TATA Motors Ltd. India, and also Sponsor Director of Nitol Insurance Co. Ltd. (a Public  Traded Company). He has nearly 50 years working experience in home and abroad  in various type of Organizations and Establishment in the UK & Middle East.  Participated in many International Business Meetings, Seminars & Fairs in home &  abroad, active number of high level policy making body in respect of financial  investments, and developments and looking after the whole financial assets of the Nitol-Niloy Group as Finance Director.

Traveled most of the European countries. USA, Middle East and some Southeast Asian countries, Active member of some non-political, social, cultural and religious organizations. Wife Nazne Ara Husain M.A.(Dhaka University) is the Director of Nita Co. Ltd. and also Treasurer of Bangladesh Women Chamber of Commerce & Industries Blessed with two Daughters Natasha Husain Radiologist(USA) & Bipasha Husain MBA(USA) both are married now are living in USA.
